The Knox Food Dude has lived in Knoxville for over three decades and has seen great Mom-n-Pops come and go. He was born in a KFC parking lot, birthed in the back of a Volkswagen during a snow storm. As he exited the womb and landed on top of a side of sub-par chain-restaurant mashed potatoes, the stars in the sky aligned for him to disavow corporate food chains and continue the search for great local eats.
